TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Oct. 27, 2026 —
More than 3.15 million Florida voters had cast ballots in the Nov. 3, 2026, General Election as of the Florida Division of Elections' statewide statistics compiled at 8:07 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27. The state builds these totals from daily reports filed by all 67 county Supervisors of Elections, and they run through the prior day's activity.
The statewide numbers
| Republican | Democrat | Other | No Party Affiliation | Total | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Voted early | 727,255 | 601,289 | 40,895 | 290,959 | 1,660,398 |
| Voted by mail | 529,943 | 643,143 | 36,055 | 283,146 | 1,492,287 |
| Total voted | 1,257,198 | 1,244,432 | 76,950 | 574,105 | 3,152,685 |
| Mail ballots not yet returned | 324,499 | 403,076 | 27,955 | 231,005 | 986,535 |
The totals are counts of voters who have cast ballots, sorted by the party each voter is registered with. They are not results. No votes are counted publicly until polls close on Election Day, and a voter's party registration does not show how that person voted.

What voters still need to know
- Mail ballots must arrive by 7 p.m. on Nov. 3. Under section 101.67, Florida Statutes, a vote-by-mail ballot counts only if the Supervisor of Elections receives it by 7 p.m. on Election Day. A postmark is not enough. Ballot drop-off options and hours are set by each county Supervisor of Elections.
- Early voting dates and sites vary by county. Each county's dates, hours and locations are posted by its Supervisor of Elections.
- Check your status. Voters can confirm their registration, polling place and mail ballot status through the Division of Elections' voter lookup.
- Election Day. Under section 100.011, polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Florida law, section 101.043, requires voters at the polls to show identification with a photo and a signature.
