Facts, not opinions

Our goal is to give Floridians clear, sourced facts so they have the knowledge to make informed decisions for themselves, their families and their homes. We report what happened and what official sources say, and we attribute every claim. We don't tell readers what to think, and we don't slant coverage toward any side.

Nonpartisan

We explain laws, rules and decisions. We do not take sides in elections or partisan debates, and we aim to describe policy questions fairly, including the main arguments on different sides when they're relevant.

No endorsements

Launchpad Digital does not endorse candidates, political parties, ballot measures, products or service providers. Mentioning a business, organization or official is not an endorsement.

Sponsor separation

• Sponsored content is always clearly labeled as sponsored.
• Sponsors have no say in what we cover or how we cover it, and they don't review content before publication.
• We don't accept political or issue-advocacy sponsorships.

Sourcing

• We rely on primary sources wherever possible: Florida Statutes, the Florida Administrative Code, official agency guidance, court records and public documents.
• We link to or name our sources so readers can check them.
• We distinguish clearly between what a source says and our explanation of it.
• When something is uncertain, disputed or still changing, we say so.

Accuracy and corrections

We work to get things right the first time. When we don't, we correct errors promptly and transparently. See our corrections policy.

Not legal advice

Our content is general information for educational purposes. It isn't legal, financial or professional advice and doesn't create an attorney-client relationship. For your specific situation, consult a qualified Florida professional.

Answerable to readers

Readers are the people who keep the lights on, and they are who we answer to. No sponsor, advertiser or outside group reviews or shapes our coverage.

Travel guides

Our Getaways guides contain no paid listings, sponsored placements or affiliate links, and we don't publish ratings or reviews. Fees and hours are checked against official pages, and each guide shows the date it was checked.

Independence

Our editor and contributors disclose any personal or financial interest that could reasonably be seen as a conflict with a story they work on.
