Facts, not spin.

A letter to our readers on why Launchpad Digital exists and who we answer to.

Dear reader,

Floridians make big decisions every day: where to live, what to sign, how to get ready for storm season, what a new law means for the family budget. Those decisions deserve facts, not spin. Too often, the facts arrive already wrapped in someone else's opinion.

Launchpad Digital exists to do something simpler. We give you clear, sourced facts so you have the knowledge to make informed decisions for yourself, your family and your home. Our motto is "Where Florida gets clear answers," and we take the word "clear" seriously.

Here is how we work:

  • Facts first. We tell you what a law, rule, decision or event actually says or does, and we cite the source so you can check our work.
  • No telling you what to think. We don't endorse candidates, parties or causes, and we don't slant our coverage toward any side.
  • We answer to you. Our readers are the people who keep the lights on. Sponsors help cover costs, but they never shape what we cover or how, and sponsored messages are always labeled.
  • Mistakes get fixed in the open. When we get something wrong, we correct it and say so.

As for what we cover: our first publication is the Florida Condo & HOA Brief, a free newsletter with plain-language explainers for association owners, board members and buyers. Here on our site you'll also find Florida around the state, short sourced briefs on news that affects Floridians, and Getaways, practical travel guides built around official park information. More is on the way, and your questions will help decide what comes next.

One short note: we're not lawyers, and nothing we publish is legal advice.

If you have a question you can't get a straight answer to, or you spot something we got wrong, write to us at editor@launchpaddigitalfl.com.

Thank you for reading, and for trusting us with your time.
