Both tickets are on Launchpad's list of statewide candidates: Donalds is running with Bryan Avila and Jolly with Gwen Graham.

Traffic and closures

The Daytona Beach Police Department told residents and visitors to expect significant traffic Friday, both Spectrum News 13 and FOX 35 Orlando reported. Both outlets list these closures:

  • Atlantic Avenue between Oak Ridge Boulevard and Main Street, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Peninsula Drive between Main Street and Ora Street, starting at 4 p.m.

Police said more temporary closures will happen along the president's route, which won't be announced in advance, Spectrum News 13 reported. FOX 35 reported that travelers using Daytona Beach International Airport should allow extra time.

Tickets are free, Spectrum News 13 reported, and the event page allows up to four per signup. Everyone goes through security screening, and bags can't be larger than 18 by 13 by 7 inches, FOX 35 reported.

Under section 101.657, Florida Statutes, early voting must run through the third day before the election, which is Saturday, Oct. 31.
