WASHINGTON, Oct. 31, 2026 — The yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury note was 4.98% and the 30-year bond 5.32%, according to the Federal Reserve's H.15 Selected Interest Rates table released Friday, Oct. 30. That was down from 5.05% and 5.37% the previous business day. The 10-year yield has stayed between 4.98% and 5.05% for the five business days in the table.
Treasury yields are a benchmark for many consumer loans. Mortgage rates, for example, tend to move with the 10-year yield.
The Fed held its benchmark rate steady at its meeting this week, as Launchpad reported.
