DUBUQUE, IA, Nov. 1, 2026 — President Donald Trump spent the last Sunday before the Nov. 3 midterm election at rallies in Iowa and Kansas, which he called his final campaign stops.

"Heading to lowa, and then, so importantly, Kansas (Will be my last stop!)," Trump posted on X at 1:53 p.m. ET Sunday. He named Ashley Hinson for Senate and Zach Lahn for governor in Iowa, and Roger Marshall for Senate and Ty Masterson for governor in Kansas, and wrote that "Tuesday will be the Most Important Midterm Election in the History of the U.S.A."

Trump took the stage Sunday afternoon at the Five Flags Event Center in Dubuque, IA, The Guardian reported. His Kansas rally is at Salina Regional Airport Hangar 509, with remarks set to begin at 7 p.m. Central time (8 p.m. ET), according to the Republican Party's event page.

Both stops were canceled Thursday, Oct. 29, and then put back on the schedule a day later. The Republican National Committee had said Trump would replace in-person events with rallies by phone, then confirmed Friday that the Kansas rally and an Iowa stop were rescheduled, with Kansas moving from Saturday to Sunday, WIBW and The Associated Press reported. The Guardian also reported the two appearances were "initially canceled a few days ago" and "hastily rescheduled."

It's Trump's second trip to Kansas in two weeks for Marshall, a Republican incumbent running against Democrat Adam Hamilton, according to WIBW. Polls open Tuesday; Florida voters can find hours, ID rules and their ballot in our Nov. 3 voting guide.

Launchpad will report results as they're certified.
