WASHINGTON, DC, Oct. 30, 2026 — The Department of Homeland Security said Friday that a Texas-wide immigration enforcement operation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement led to 4,170 arrests over 10 days.
"Lone Star Mission was a coordinated Texas-wide enforcement effort conducted by @ICEgov from October 19 to October 29, resulting in the arrests of 4,170 illegal aliens across the state of Texas — including murderers, sexual assailants, drunk drivers, and alien smugglers," DHS wrote on X.
"Lone Star Mission demonstrates how vital state and local partnerships are for protecting American communities," the post says. DHS did not break down the arrests by charge in the post. The figures are the department's own.
