TALLAHASSEE, Oct. 31, 2026 — Saturday, Oct. 31, is the last day Florida law requires counties to offer early voting before Tuesday's general election. Under section 101.657, Florida Statutes, early voting must run through the third day before an election, and county supervisors may add days, including the Sunday before Election Day. Check your county supervisor of elections for local hours.
As of the state's most recent statewide count, compiled at 8:08 a.m. Friday, 4,274,034 Floridians had voted: 2,504,784 early in person and 1,769,250 by mail, according to the Division of Elections' vote-by-mail and early voting statistics. Another 673,998 mail ballots sent to voters hadn't been returned.
Mail ballots must reach your county supervisor of elections by 7 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time on Tuesday.
Launchpad will update the totals when the state posts Saturday's count. Details on dates, ID rules and what's on the ballot are in our Nov. 3 voting guide.
