TALLAHASSEE, FL, Oct. 29, 2026 —

More than 3.89 million Florida voters had cast ballots in the Nov. 3 General Election, according to the Florida Division of Elections' statewide statistics. The state's early voting totals were compiled at 8:07 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, and its mail ballot totals were updated at 1:03 p.m. That's 376,486 more than the 3,520,308 the state reported Wednesday.

The state builds these totals from daily reports filed by the 67 county Supervisors of Elections, and they generally run through the prior day's voting.

The statewide numbers

Republican Democrat Other No Party Affiliation Total
Voted early 972,753 788,137 55,412 394,291 2,210,593
Voted by mail 594,296 727,616 41,020 323,269 1,686,201
Total voted 1,567,049 1,515,753 96,432 717,560 3,896,794
Mail ballots not yet returned 253,005 298,633 21,872 178,652 752,162

These are counts of voters who have cast ballots, sorted by each voter's party registration. They aren't results. No votes are tallied publicly until polls close on Election Day, and a voter's registration doesn't show how that person voted.

Where the most ballots have come in

By the state's county figures compiled Thursday morning, the counties with the most early votes so far are Miami-Dade (211,901), Broward (189,066), Palm Beach (138,356), Orange (137,078) and Hillsborough (132,164). The most returned mail ballots are in Miami-Dade (156,856), Pinellas (147,043), Palm Beach (130,937), Broward (114,546) and Hillsborough (114,519).

What voters still need to know

  • Mail ballots must arrive by 7 p.m. on Nov. 3. Under section 101.67, Florida Statutes, a vote-by-mail ballot counts only if the county Supervisor of Elections receives it by 7 p.m. on Election Day. A postmark isn't enough.
  • Early voting dates, hours and sites vary by county. Each county's schedule is posted by its Supervisor of Elections.
  • Check your status. Voters can confirm their registration, polling place and mail ballot status with the Division of Elections' voter lookup.
  • Election Day. Under section 100.011, polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Nov. 3, and section 101.043 requires voters at the polls to show identification with a photo and a signature.

Launchpad Digital will report the state's updated figures each day until results are certified.

The count keeps climbing; the decision belongs to the voters.
