VIERA, FL, Nov. 2, 2026 — With flooding across Brevard County, county government is closing its facilities Monday, but the Supervisor of Elections office in Viera is staying open for voters, the elections office says.
"Due to flooding around Brevard County, the @BrevardCo_FL is closing their facilities. However, in order to serve voters, the Viera office for the Brevard County Supervisor of Elections IS OPEN," Supervisor of Elections Tim Bobanic's office posted on X at 10:24 a.m. "Voted Mail Ballots can be returned in the secure ballot intake station."
The elections office's website says its Titusville, Melbourne and Palm Bay administrative offices are closed because of the weather, and the Canvassing Board meeting that had been set for 3 p.m. Monday has been canceled.
Early voting is over. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, and polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., the office says. Voters must vote at their own precinct's polling place on Election Day; the office's site has a Find Your Precinct tool, and the location is also on each voter's Voter Information Card. The office's phone number is 321-290-VOTE (8683), and its Spanish toll-free line is 1-833-803-0613.
Statewide, the Florida Department of State said Monday that Secretary of State Cord Byrd "has met with each of Florida's 67 Supervisors of Elections and Division of Elections staff members are stationed throughout the state, as they are for all statewide elections." The department's voter precinct lookup shows where each voter casts a ballot on Tuesday.

If you're heading out to vote Tuesday, check your polling place before you go and steer around any water you can't see the bottom of.
